The challenge

The client wished for an environment that harmonized perfectly with the exterior, reflecting the relaxing and authentic atmosphere of the Carvalhal beaches. The bamboo reeds and the piece of oak wood were essential elements, specifically chosen to represent the local flora and create a visual and emotional connection between the restaurant and the surrounding landscape.

The solution

With these two natural elements as a starting point, our artisans dedicated themselves to recreate the elements using 100% natural plaster. Each detail was sculpted by hand, capturing the texture, shape and essence of the original materials. After removal from the mold, each piece was individually rectified to ensure greater depth and realism. .

The process started with a detailed study of the elements supplied by the client. The bamboo reeds were carefully analyzed to capture their unique structure and texture. The piece of oak wood, with its grains and characteristic patterns, was meticulously recreated to guarantee each piece seemed authentic. .

The result of this meticulous work is a restaurant interior that breathes the coastline atmosphere of Carvalhal. The bamboo reed panels made in plaster bring the sensation of being surrounded by the beach flora, while the oak logs offer a rustic and natural touch with the safety and durability that plaster provides.
