This project is more than a collection of pieces: it’s proof that the emphasis between technique and passion can create something truly extraordinary. It’s a tribute to handcraftmanship, where each lamp becomes an exclusive masterpiece.

The challenge

From the beginning, the challenge of creating these unique pieces of illumination was present in each detail. The shape of the shell, with its delicate curves and minute texture requires a very precise and careful approach. Natural plaster, chosen for its smooth beauty and for allowing thin and elegant surfaces, presented its own challenges as this material, albeit versatile, requires meticulous attention so we can guarantee the integrity of each piece.

During the production process, each lamp was individually sculpted, guaranteeing that no lamp was exactly the same as the other, although they all share the same essential shape. This artisanal method produced results that, albeit similar, bring the identity and the personal touch of each artisan. The handcraftmanship left subtle traces that accentuate the exclusivity and authenticity of each piece.

The solution

The solution for the challenges this project brought us is based on patience, the continuous enhancement of the techniques used and attention to detail, from the precise control of the drying time to the refinement of the textures and the thorough finishing details. Each stage of the process contributed to transforming an idea into a masterpiece, where the artisanal beauty reveals itself in each detail, reflecting the singularity and beauty of each handcrafted piece.
